Kids First Enterprise Sets a Goal for 2010

Kids First Enterprise has set a goal for 2010.  It’s a simple goal that will change lives – many lives.

The Kids First factory in Vietnam has already made some drastic positive changes in getting the people of Dong Ha Town their own manufacturing and training center which employs a work force consisting of about 20% people with disability.  Making this one small part of the country economically self-sustaining has transformed the lives of the locals.

But they don’t stop there.  In conjunction with Forward Mobility, they have also donated hundreds of wheelchairs to people who would otherwise never be able to afford one.  Fitted with rugged wheels to match the terrain of developing nations, these wheelchairs give people the ability to live a dignified life with disability.

Now, for 2010, Kids First has set a goal.  With the manufacture of 100 wheelchairs per month, they can grow their efforts to reach more people around the globe.  I am launching an effort to help them reach their goal by reaching out to the public and to businesses across the world – make a commitment to fund the production of as many wheelchairs as you are able to.
